Your files stay on your Mac.

This covers the Mac apps Elconvo, Elxplorer, Elingo and Elrange, from the Mac App Store and from GitHub. They collect no personal data: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.

The details

Your filesEvery conversion, preview, translation and window arrangement happens on your Mac. Nothing you open, convert, fill in or sign is sent anywhere.

ElingoTranslation is Apple's on-device translation. A language pair you haven't used before is downloaded by macOS from Apple, as for any app using it. Your saved signature is kept in your Mac's Keychain and is only used after you confirm with Touch ID or your password.

ElrangeUses macOS's Accessibility permission only to move and resize windows, and Screen Recording only to show window previews in its switcher. It doesn't read, record or store what's in your windows.

Elxplorer & ElconvoRead and write only the files and folders you work with or allow. Elconvo may ask Apple's Numbers or Adobe DNG Converter, on your Mac, to open a file you chose to convert.

SettingsYour preferences (shortcuts, layouts, languages) are stored on your Mac only.

NetworkThe versions downloaded from GitHub check github.com once a day for a newer release; that request carries no personal information. App Store versions don't: the App Store handles updates. "Support on Ko-fi" opens ko-fi.com in your browser, where Ko-fi's own policy applies.

ChildrenThe apps collect nothing from anyone, children included.
